The Online Identity workshop planned for 22nd May at 3pm (you can register below) is a chance for students and staff to review how they appear on line and take an active role in making deliberate changes on the way that they create a representation of themselves online. Are you aware that everything you do online can be found? If you post a review on Amazon your review can be found. What you say and how you appear online needs to be consistent and needs to reflect you in the best possible light. The workshop will highlight examples were profiles are not managed and there will be discussions about how your can enhance your profile and sell yourself effectively to potential employers.
There are still some places left for the workshop – come along and see how you can get the most for your own online identity. The Student Digital Literacy Champions will be running the workshop with Fiona Harvey and Lisa Harris.
